Dr. Maser graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1986. He purchased Cavan Hills Veterinary Services in 1995 as a farmhouse and transformed and renovated the entire building into what is now a highly successful veterinary hospital. His hobbies are gardening, traveling and working around his home farm "Meadowview" where he is owned by his 11 retired horses, his donkey "Jose", 8 dogs, 16 fish and many cats. Dr. Maser shares his life with Laura and their four children Ashley, Mandi, Sam and Hanna.

Veterinary medicine is a second career for David Good.  He received a PhD in Zoology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1985 and worked there as the collections manager in herpetology at the Museum of Vertebrate Zoology from then until 1990.  From 1990 until 1996 he was an assistant professor of zoology at Louisiana State University and in 1996 he decided to switch careers and enrolled in the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.  Since graduating he has worked as a veterinarian in New Brunswick, Kentucky, British Columbia, and now is happily ensconced at Cavan Hills.

Dr. Courtney Lun graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelors of Science in 2015, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College in 2019. She has a strong interest in surgery and developed a passion for exotic/wildlife medicine after spending a summer in South Africa and Namibia. In her free time, Dr. Lun loves to travel, spend time with her Himalayan named Mozart, and is an avid wildlife/zoo photographer.

Dr. Yim graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in 2012, majoring in Animal Biology and minoring in Nutrition and Nutraceutical Sciences. She then spent four years in Australia at the University of Melbourne and graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2016. Dr. Yim enjoys every aspect of veterinary medicine but especially preventive medicine and exotic animal medicine.On her days off, Dr. Yim enjoys spending time at the stable and riding, hiking, cooking, and traveling. She is aspiring to one day share her home with another greyhound or two!

Dr. Jacqueline Chow graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, though has a special interest in surgery and avian medicine. On her free time, she enjoys singing, bird watching/photography, hiking, and spending time with her two lovely pigeons Tony and Pepper.

Dr. Chiu graduated from the University of Toronto with a BSc. in Zoology and then went to Australia to complete her degree in Veterinary medicine. She graduated from the University of Sydney in 2012 and joined the CHVS team in April 2013. Dr. Chiu has a strong interest in surgery and exotic/wildlife medicine. In her free time, she enjoys crafting, sewing and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Chiu lives at home with her husband, Gannon, 2 cats (Godzilla and King Kong) and their two daughters Ella and Haley.

Dr. Daly graduated from The Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh, Scotland in 2016. He worked as a small animal veterinarian in both first opinion and emergency practices prior to joining the team at Cavan Hills in 2019. Dr. Daly enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, though has a special interest in internal medicine and feline medicine. In his time off he enjoys swimming, cycling and spending time with his cat Taylor.

Dr Viljoen graduated from St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies. She is South African originally, but has lived across the world. She cares deeply for both animals and owners! She loves emergency medicine and is honing her skills in that field. In her free time, she likes plants, planners, and art. She shares her home with too many houseplants and a cat named Poseidon.

Dr. Robert Berger graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science and a degree in Veterinary Medicine from the Ontario Veterinary College. Dr. Berger worked as a mixed animal veterinarian in northern Alberta then in Ontario before joining the Cavan Hills team in 2018. Dr. Berger enjoys every aspect of veterinary medicine and is passionate about helping people and animals alike. In his free time, he enjoys playing music, drawing, and hiking with his best and furriest friend Bernard.
