Laura - Hospital Administrator
Laura loves her job and loves all the animals, but the pleasure she gets from knowing that we have helped an animal in some way is by far the greatest gift of all. They are all so precious. Laura is proud of the team here at CHVS and would like to introduce you to them to you...
Dani - Hospital Supervisor
Dani was born and raised in Peterborough, and joined the Cavan Hills team in 2008. She holds an honours degree in biological sciences from the University of Windsor and brings with her nine years of experience working veterinary hospitals in and around the Peterborough area. As Hospital Supervisor, it is Dani's responsibility to oversee the various departments that are involved in the daily functions at Cavan Hills Veterinary Services. Dani pledges to use her experience and expertise to promote a professionally responsible and dedicated clinic that owners can rely upon to provide optimal care for their pets. Dani shares her home with two big siamese boys, Norman and Boo, and a beautiful little tuxedo kitty names Stevie. Please feel free to contact Dani with any suggestions or concerns, she looks forward to your participation in the maintenance and development of a focused and responsive animal care facility.

Dana - Veterinary Assistant Supervisor
Dana grew up in a house that often seemed to double as a rescue and thus spawned her love for all animals; from epileptic dogs, to earless bunnies and quirky cats, noisy birds, rescued lab rats and everything in between! She feels connected to every animal she meets and has a particular affection for horses. Dana graduated from Trent University and has led horse back tours in Canada, Scotland and England. She is a registered Equine Massage Therapist and is currently completing her Canine Massage certification. Dana shares her life with her Border Collie - German Shepherd cross Raski and her husband Fraser.

Katy - Registered Veterinary Technician Supervisor
Katy is a the head Registered Veterinary Technician here at Cavan Hills. Her journey at Cavan Hills began back in Feb. of 2005, as a high school coop student - and she hasn't left since! She worked as a Veterinary Assistant/Stable hand briefly and then worked her way up to a Receptionist/Technician Assistant. In Fall of 2006 she moved to Kingston to attend the Veterinary Technician program at St. Lawrence College. On her weekends, holidays and summers, Katy would return to CHVS to work... she just couldn't get enough of it! She graduated with honors in the spring of 2009 and has been working as an RVT since. I love all aspects of my job... working for and with such wonderful people makes going to work great, its like a second family here! I also enjoy educating and communicating with our clients and most importantly, caring for and treating all of our "furry" patients on a daily basis. Currently I share my life with my partner Ian, our 2 beautiful Boston Terriers (Ruby and Voodoo) and our 3-legged recue cat named "Mister Geeves" and her other cat named Teagan. Katy's goal in life is to be as good of a person as her dog already thinks she is !!

Christine - Registered Veterinary Technician
Christine graduated from Northern College in 2004, and has four dogs, Luke, Mia, Lexus and Lilo and a 4 year old thoroughbred named Donny. She is a busy Mom to her son Aden and chose this profession because of her life-long love for animals.

Nikki - Registered Veterinary Technician
Nikki joined the team at Cavan Hills after graduating from Seneca College June of '09. She remembers wanting to work here since she was little - bringing her dog "Cole" (in the picture) to the clinic. Nikki loves working with so many great people and enjoys learning every day. She currently has a dog named Cole and a cat named Molly.

Meredith - Receptionist / Health & Safety Coordinator
Meredith started at Cavan Hills in 1997 on a high school co-op placement. After graduating she joined the team full time in 1998. Meredith is the well known face of the clinic and can't imagine doing anything else with her life. She loves working with animals and I loves working with their owners too! Meredith is currently on Maternity leave after giving birth recently to a big bautiful baby boy! She currently has 2 crazy cats that keep her laughing as well as a Rottweiler named Ilsa.

Katie - Technical Assistant
Katie has been working with animals for the last ten years. She has worked for a few clinics, kennels and spent 5 years at the OSPCA. She shares her home with 15 animals, but no other humans! She has 6 dogs (Levon, Daniel, Loeke, Little Jeanie, Bram and Tara), 5 cats (Calvin, Hobbes, Blossom, Grizabella and Zuzu),3 mice (Luca, Stephanie and Persephone), a rabbit (Rabbit Stu) and a rat (Octavia) - all rescues!!

Emma - Veterinary Receptionist / Assistant
Emma has worked at Cavan Hills Vet Services since February of 2009. She has 10 years of grooming experience as well as prior experience working at Vet Clinics. Emma enjoys spending time with her husband Donald and her two wonderful children, Anthony and Alexis. My extended family includes two dogs, Odie and Tina, a cat named Ozzie and a horse named Fox.

Darlene - Technical Assistant
Darlene graduated from the Medical Ward Secretary program at Sir Sanford Fleming and has worked for Cavan Hills since 2008. Darlene loves what she does and where she works. At home she has another big family that includes 5 cats, Tasha, Sampson, Herc, Tiny, Princess and two dog's Max and Queenie. Max is an Australian shephard and queenie is a min pin. Darlene loves being surrrounded by animals twenty four hours a day.
Cindy - Veterinary Assistant
Cindy joined the Cavan Hills team in 2006 and feels fortunate to work with a wonderful group of dedicated and compassionate people. She has always loved animals, especially dogs and horses. She and her husband live on a 100 acre farm and are devoted to their ever-expanding four-legged family: 7 dogs (Candie, Tucker, Emma, Tripp, Jake, Rocky and Lilly) 4 cats (Scully, Ben, Russet and Tofino) and 4 horses (Rowdy, Tiggy, Sweetie and Millie). In her spare time, she grows flowers, veggies and herbs and sell them at the local Farmers Market with her husband and two goldies Tucker and Tripp.

Nancy - Veterinary Assistant
After many years as both a public school teacher and college professor, Nancy finds it a joy to finally be working for the well-being of animals. Although Wesley is currently her only pet she has worked with animals all of her life on family farms, showing and training horses, St Bernards and Pomeranians, cats and birds, guinea pigs and rats, salt & fresh water aquariums/terrariums. nancy cannot imagine a more satisfying way to spend time than learning and caring with such a compassionate and knowledgeable team.

Stephanie - Administrative Assistant
After graduating from Seneca College in 1995 as a Bio-Chem Technician, Stephanie worked for many years in Quality Assurance at a large pharmaceutical company. After taking a few years off to raise her 2 young children, Stephanie obtained her Medical Office Support Staff Certificate from Fleming College and joined the CHVS team in August 2011. Stephanie works in the office with Dani and Dr. Maser and is enjoying learning all aspects of Veterinary business administration.
